What Sizes Do We Have Available?  We have three different sizes  -- small, medium, and large.  

The sizes are as follows:
Small: 3½ x 5 x 14"
Medium: 5½ x 6 x 14"
Large: 11 x 6 x 14"

The small size is strictly reserved for personal mail only.

 

How Will My Address Read?  We are not a Post Office and therefore "PO Box" must not be used, nor should "Apt" or "Suite" be used.  It is imperative that only the number sign (#) be used.  Addresses will therefore read as follows:

How Much Does It Cost?  The small box is $25 per month, and the medium and large sizes are $30 and $40 respectively.  There is a three- month minimum at all times. Also, we charge a one-time set-up fee of $15.  We offer discounts for 6- and 12-month rental periods.

How Can I Obtain One?  As mentioned before, there is no waiting list.  Bring in two forms of ID, complete the application, pay, and the mailbox is yours!  Or, download the application here, fill it out at your leisure, and then bring it in to our store with two forms of identification.

Please note:  If you are applying for a mailbox by email or by phone, we will need to have a good copy of your valid, government-issued photo ID plus another id.  You will also need to have the application Notarized.  If you will be coming into the store at some point to pick up your mail, disregard this message.  (This only applies to you if you are applying from out of the area and will want your mail forwarded to you.)

Mail Forwarding
  Many of our customers want to establish a steady San Francisco address.  This is accomplished through mail forwarding.  It's Easy!  Open up a mailbox, provide a mail-forwarding address, and put a deposit on file.  We will then forward your mail to you at regular intervals using the deposit you provided; most people have their mail forwarded weekly.  With mail forwarding, there is no need to come in to check your mail -- we'll send it to you automatically!

 

Also

  If there are any other people who will be receiving mail in your rented box, he or she will need to fill out a one-page form and provide photo ID.  There is no additional charge, but we do need to know who is receiving mail at this address.

  We're able to receive all types of shipments including courier services.  If you can send it, we can receive it.

  If you receive too much mail or a box, we'll place a florescent card in your mailbox as a notice.  Turn it in to one of our employees, and we'll retrieve the box and mail for you.
